Question

How do I remove a broken fibaro wall plug from the HC2.
When Deleting device by "X" = ID 186: NOP sending succeeded. The device HAS not been removed. Please use Learning Mode to remove it.

But the B button is broken so what can you do

Maybe it's something new and something good in the recent firmware! Maybe HC2 tests if the device communicates. And refuses to delete it if it still communicates. In order to protect people from accidentally deleting devices by clicking the "X". Was the device plugged in when you clicked the "X"? Then my guesswork is probably right.

I can delete mine with the following steps:  Unplug it... Delete it with X. It disappears. Refresh browser... it reappears. Wait one minute. Refresh browser... it's gone!

Now observe this: if you plug in the Wall Plug, the ring glows green, meaning the device thinks it's still paired to your HC2. Green is not good in this case. If it was properly removed, the ring would glow red at startup. Since your button broke, there's nothing you can do to reset or exclude the device.

Indeed, communication is tested before deleting the device with 'x'. You can either use exclusion mode or follow steps described by @petergebruers.
