DHS In-wall switch wired, but now Switch LED doesn't work and manual button requires double/triple click to work

Question

Hi Everyone,

I purchased one of these:

The electrician wired it up the other day. I have two issues:

1) The LED on my Clipsal Saturn switch no longer illuminates when the light is switched off

2) I can't simply manually push the button once and have the light turn on/off. I have to double and sometimes triple click is fast succession for it to work

Has anyone else come across this and have a solution?

Regards,

Scott

  • *** UPDATE ***

The reason why they were acting up was that I had the wrong switch.

I had Clipsal Saturn 60PB switches which are normal light switches.

The DHS units require Clipsal Saturn 60PBBPL switches. These switches a "momentary" [door bell style] switches rather than on of. The momentary voltage tells the DHS in wall unit to switch the light off or on.

I used a different switch to the one provided by the vendor.
