Panasonic Viera remote control

D-Vine

Question

Dear Users,

Because I have a new panasonic 65cx800 TV wanted control it with fibaro.

I made a virtual device but with the help of the great French from www.domotique-fibaro.fr

Please login or register to see this link.

Al credits to the users out there!

It's very simple and maybe this virtual device could be better with a main loop or something I don't' know.

Because I became a proud father of a healthy and lovely daughter not able to expand my personal buttons, think it make sense how to change this.

Thing to do:

-Import the Virtual Device

-Change IP adres to your TV

-Port number 55000

IP range must be in same layer 2 network

For now each button has this code

At top of the code -- . local command = "NRC_POWER-ONOFF";  the action is made

Please login or register to see this code.

You can expand your VD by just ad a button copy code above and ad the command line what you want to send to your panasonic

Please login or register to see this code.

My own Virtual Device is here to get you going.

Btw you forgot to mention that the TCPport should be 55000.

In my case it does not work yet.. But maybe thats because my TV is on wifi. Working on that

Also worth mentioning :

The device needs to be in the same layer 2 network. It will not work in routed network because in most cases the broadcast traffic ( packages send from the fibaro ) will be filtered you from subnet to subnet
