The device registers as one unknown device and as one a plug.

Say it at all so, or bug outlet?

Firmware 4.080 (standard with the purchase was 4.056)

just exclude it and reinclude it at close distance

If nothing helps I would wait to the next release of software. You might have a bug somewhere, do you have any other wall plug that's working correctly?
