Correct procedure to add Domoticz or VeraEdge as Secondary

strips

Question

I'm kind of confused over the options

  • Add "secondary" controller:
Starts controller learning process (LearnMode), which is used to add or remove the Home Center gateway as a "secondary" controller or to receive the "primary" network role.

  • Controller transfer:
Starts process of adding a controller and is transferring its role as a main controller.

I tried them both but did not work with latest Domoticz (GIT). What works is to add Domoticz as a regular device while clicking "Receive config from other Controller" in Domoticz.

Still no devices in Domoticz and it is still primary. But all devices stop working in HC2. So something has happened on HC2 and I have to restore a backup.

I also have a VeraEdge but never got it included at all when I tried a few months ago.

So anyone got this working between HC2 v4 and Domoticz or VeraEdge?

In HC you must to start regular device Adding procedure from here /fibaro/en/devices/new.html

In Domoticz start Receive configuration from another controller from Setup tab of OpenZWave.
