Question

Hi all.

All my devices are gone and i am not able to update the HC2.

Last time I had the same issue and I was helped by teamviewer (there was something wrong with the weather somehow).

Is there anyone here who might be able to help me?

Kind regards,

Dennis

You said: not able to Login, do you mean, you are not able to display the frontpage from the HC2 in your browser?

Are all the light (LED) are led, on theof the HC2.

Can you ping the ip address?

Sometime in your router you can see what kind of equipment is connected on your LAN line, if device set to DHCP.

    Thnx,

What I mean is that the device cannot be found online or on my LAN.

I tried recovery and then connected the HC2 directly to my LAN port on my laptop and used IP 192.168.81.1 to try to connect to it... Didnt work..

All lights are on but I am not able to get connected to it in any way..

Did you set your laptop to 192.168.81.2?

Connect your laptop and your HC2 on a network switch. Are you sure it's the following ip address from the HC2: 192.168.81.1 ?

Did you ping the ip address: 192.168.81.1 ?

    go to dos command "cmd"

in the dos command type: > "ping 192.168.81.1" what is the result. if you did a recovery use the default ip address from the hc2 ?

let me know, or make a photo from the ping result

Tried setting my laptop to 192.168.81.2, still cant connect.
    I pinged 192.168.81.1 .... times out....

Also Fibaro Finder does not find my HC2.

The whole time the HC2 is connected to my laptop using a Lan cable.

Also when HC2 is connected via a switch, I cannot ping it on either IP adress.

Are you sure it's on 192.168.81.1 Did you set it up previously as DHCP or a static IP. DHCP needs a router to be able to set it to an IP address. Static address you should, if known (ip address), you should be able to ping it.

    @Samuelboerhoop

I have performed the recovery so that should set it to 192.168.81.1 accoring to the manual.

I have it plugged in to my laptop now and will put my laptop to the same subnet to try to acces it..

    Groetjes!

I would suggest connecting the HC2 to your router, and look into the UI of your router to see if it becomes visible.

You often have a connected devices summary in there.

This way you will be sure if it's get realy connected to the network and what the IP address will be.

Ive checked that... It didnt show up....

Will it show up even if it has a different subnet? I use 192.168.0.x and the HC2 uses 192.168.81.x

Seems like my HC2 is bricked

I think that this will be difficult or impossible, if you can't access the HC2.
