POPP GEN-5 Smoke Detector with Indoor Siren

Hi all.

Just bought a POPP gen-5 smoke detector and found the HC2 has no templates for this and no configurable options.

Has anyone managed to get this working and able to address the siren from different scenes?

If anyone could help, that would be ace.

sure, simply use LUA to turn on/off the siren, e.g.

one can add the smoke detector in both secure and unsecure mode, we using them in unsecure mode since there was issue with secure mode together with 4.080

 

To make use of the tamper function we need to wait for the template.

Any idea why 3 devices have shown up when I included the smoke sensor.

2 look like smoke detectors and 1 looks like a motion sensor.

that's right, there is smoke and fire detector, the siren (with template that would be switch) and tamper protection (with template that would be a sensor, like door/motion)

Thanks very much for the info.

So we will just need to wait for Fibaro to create the template and send it out in the next update.

For the time being, we will just have to use LUA to address the siren and hope Fibaro brings the update for this out soon as the Smoke detector cannot be used in a scene at all via Graphic Blocks. Just does not show up to be used.

I assume they want to sell their own sensor.......so this take some time.

Btw., do you have false alarms with the popp sensor like the fibaro fgsd-002?

Non what so ever. Battery still going strong even from when I posted the original post on here. 

 

Just wish fibaro would create a template.
