NorthQ NQ 9021 strange behaviour

Cameleon

Question

So I have a NorthQ NQ9021 hooked up to my electricity meter and it seems to be reading ok. However, it seems a bit sporadic about its updates. Its meant to wake up every 15 mins and give readings. I have a scene that is set up to dump this data to a ThingSpeak channel (for monitoring) whenever the value changes on the device and it seems sometimes it has very short intervals. I don't suppose this is doing any harm but its odd all the same.

Any ideas why it is doing this? Maybe Z-wave is waking it somehow and that causes it to update the value? Seems odd as it is battery powered and should deliver its values then go back to sleep.

Like I say, it's probably doing no harm. I need to cross check it with the meters values, but given the amount it is reporting, its unlikely to cause to go far off from what my provider will quote when billing me. It's adding ~0.002 kWh for each of these short updates.

Привет! Можете ли вы поделиться вашей сцены? Вы умеете читать на 2 тарифа(день и ночь)?
