HikVision DS-2CD2542FWD-I not working

m-joy

Question

HI i want to place the Hik Vision DS-2CD2542FWD-I in my FIbaro.

I entered the IP, the password and the stream URL (Streaming/channels/2/preview)

nothing.... I can not see anything. I only see a picture when i connect to the cam via webbroser...

Do i actually have to place the complete http://username:password@ip/blabla inside the MPEG Stream Url ? and do i need to place something in the JPG URL ?

    no,

for IP adress the IP of the hikvision

for user/password the user/password you have set on the camera

for jpeg the proper jpeg URL, like Streaming/channels/102/picture

for mjepg the proper mjepg URL, like Streaming/channels/102/httppreview

  • Hi. Thank you. But both are not working. This may be because the camera Uses this weird rtsp stream...

I do not see an Option to change it oO

  • This is what the support gave me:

    The http url is:

    http://10.9.6.201:90/streaming/channels/102/preview

please be noted that it could only be used to get the sub-stream and only in MJPEG.
