Hi guys

I would like to ask you to help me out with the motion sensor,

Actually i would like to ask that in which way and for what can i use.

Could you please give me some examples if I ask you?

I  have five door sensors, five motion sensors, seven wall plug, smoke sensor and water sensor, hcl2

Motion sensors I mainly use to control lighting in our house. So, when motion sensor is breached scene is triggered which then checks what time of day is, what brightness is in the room where motion sensor is breached and turns lights on accordingly. When there is no movement for sometime and motion sensor is safe then it turns lights off. Of course, if there is enough light in the room reported by light sensor then lights are not turned on even motion sensor is breached.

 

Motion sensor is also used in burglar alarm, because if it is breached when armed the it will trigger alarm.

 

Motion sensor can be used to trigger any action that we want to be executed when it is breached eg. if motion is detected in the kitchen in the morning between 6:30 and 7 o'clock then it can start coffee machine or it can start heating in the room where motion is detected etc, etc.

 

I can give you my examples but they are all written in LUA language and are maybe too complicated for beginner. I am not using block scenes because I find them too simple and limited in comparison to LUA ones.
