Question

Hi,

I'm planning to use the Fibaro Wall Plug to control two electric heaters. I imagine I can use the Heating panel to set up a zone based on this.

But, how do I define the wall plug as an electric heater? And is it necessary to use the Heating panel?

Hello,

How do you want to achieve that with one Wall Plug? And what do you exactly mean by to control the heater?

It depends on what you want to achieve. Do you want to set up a plan so that it will automatically set a specific temperature at specific time on the heaters?

Go to advanced settings of the device and there you have a drop-down list named "Controlled device". You can choose from the list.

    Thanks for you reply, T.Konopka.

I'm planning on using multiple wall plugs to control several electric heaters in order to follow a heating schedule (comfort during day, drop during the night, etc), as you mention.

When I go to advanced settings for the device, these are the options (se attached image).

Go to tab "panels" > choose linked devices > add heating device give it a name and add a temp sensor and select a switch in your case a wall plug from the dropdown menu. then in the app you will find the thermostat connected with the wall plug

Just interact with this, to see if it works, didn't test this

feature: it would be nice to manual update this list "controlled device"
