popp thermostatic valve different from danfoss can't overide heating plan

Hi all,

 

I purchashed an popp thermovalve. I already got a few danfoss thermovalves and they work fine.

 

The main difference in the popp thermovalve is the ability to read out the temperature.  The downside of the popp is that you can't manipulate the temperature on the device itself when using a heating plan. Even changing it in fibaro app changed it back directly if a heating plan is used.

 

I use a heating plan, but the danfoss thermovalves are capable of overriding the heating plan for a period, in the popp devices this is NOT possible. You can change it but after the first wake up, it changes back to the temperature of the heating plan.

 

Anyone got the same? What to do about this? Is this a feature request for fibaro? Of for popp? would be of great value.

Do you have the template for this valve in the system?

If there is no template, then it will not override the heating panel.

The fibaro system does recognized it.  But not the "set for x minutes/hours" option when setting the temperature.

That's why you may experience small issues with the device. If you do not have a template for a device it means that we do not fully support it yet.

When do you expect to fully support it? This would really help integrating new devices from new vendors like POPP

I do not have this kind of information. However, Fibaro is working on integrating as many devices designed for heating as possible.

Thanks!  Can you handle this to the right developers?

The new update 4.110 fixed this problem, the valve is now detected as dannfoss but with readable temperature value.

 

best valve at the moment! Full hc2 support and temp readout!
