Hikvision dose not stream video

Kuba13

Question

Wonderex WNO – 2632-I  (rebranded Hikvision)

downloaded plugin ds2cd2132i (hey it seems like thats the correct one)

set up IP of the cam,

password,

login,

stream video access: Streaming/channels/102/Preview

preview mJPEG, 3s

in camera i've set:

stream in mJPEG format,

Stream on secondary type of stream,

the camera is registered as required by the system.

Accessing the video feed is just not working, so clearly i am doing something wrong.

i've allso tried: "Streaming/channels/102" prety much no change what so ever.

camera and Fibaro HC2 4.100 are on same network

Anny idea what the heii could be wrong?

i mean obviously it must be something regarding the adress. Tried accessing both versions of the adress listed above, including its IP, yet gotten no picture at all - oddly enough the software cam came with dose stream the damn video no problem.

I have some HK vision cameras that use the same plugin.

No picture with chrome but pic okay on FF

no streaming through android or apple app

jpg stream url - Streaming/channels/102/Picture

mpg stream - Streaming/channels/102/Preview

I cant get the camera 'click to take a picture' but I assume that this is because one of my stream url is incorrect

hope this helps

    Right thanks again for this!

The picture stream works flawlessly hence the problem MUST be in address of video stream - your input put me slightly closser to resolving this horray!

Now if i only had access to other common hicked up vission's  videostream for mJPEG. clearly everything prior to preview is correct:

Streaming - common folder, makes sense in how its used

Channels - common folder clearly correct

102 - as repeated in here and written in manual 101 (103 is completly out fo the window too) dose not support mJPEG so this is only choice

preview - and finally HERE comes the problem, i get a random download whenever i attempt to access this, coudl tehre possibly be something underneathe? i imagine even the streaming file has to have some suffix, using my laughably limited knowlidge of Axis cameras (yes cameras from WW2 offcourse) they come with *.ag on the end so THIS part is crucial: either something is missing or the folder is inccorect.

So far so good, we are making progress.

  • Testing POSSIBLE solution:

    rtsp://admin:[email protected]/h264/ch33/sub/av_stream

where admin, password and IP are obviously altered to reflect actuall settings of camera.

Why the hell dosent hikvission have ONE standartized approach is beyond me.

will let you know once i know more.

update: Above adress did not work, sadly (bloody rebranded Hikvissions are just not being nice to me)

its working over here with Hikvision, but most of the times the video streams in hikvision are h.264...

so set your second stream to Mpeg instead of H.264

    Jpeg stream path  : Streaming/channels/2/picture
    Mpeg streaming path : Streaming/channels/102/httppreview

(using different Hikvision cameras, as well R0 as R6 based)

the mobil app on android might give an error, that it will switch to Jpeg, but you will see the view keeps running... which cant be jpeg...
