ipad app - dim screen, customize?

Hi all

 

I am designing my first ever HA system. After a lot of research its a showdown between Vera and Fibaro. I like the fibaro probramming interface and support better, but I could not find a good ipad app for it.

I'll have ipad minis in every room, as they are cheap and very flexible. But I have trouble finding an app that can be customized enough for all of my needs:

-always on in a single app - I dont want to change apps, more importantly I dont want to explain to guests and friends how to use it. It should be in the same app, same buttons for 90% of the time

-that means one page for each room. That should be easy

-the iPads should dim or shut themselves down! This is very important and the only app I have seen doing this it HomeWave which is vera only! As I'll have ipads in the center of every rtoom, they should go dark when I turn off the lightsa. That means one of the light switches should send a zwave command, and the app should go dark. I know the ipad has an internal sensor, but imagine one next to your bed. Not dim, dark

-sonos control, including track selection and volume

-I want to create a visually pleasing layout. Maybe a layout of the room, or at least photo background. 

 

extras i'd love but dont need:

-movie theater interaction (Plex, Nettflix, appleTV)

-intercom between ipads

 

is there such an app? I tried imperihome, but the dashboard is not very nice looking. Same goes for fibaro app. i3 looks much more customizable, but its like a lot lot of work.

+1: Homewave is most customizable app for vera. It's so great. Fibaro APP is nice, but not customizable. This sux. ImperiHome is something between, but that's it.

 

In Main page of Fibaro app i need big clock, local weather info, and then some customizable buttons for light, rollers, devices, multimedia  etc. (for each room customizable).And then some subpages if you need.

I'm currently using Imperihome app, because it's more customizable for my needs....
