Power metering count double !

After deselct to count power use on device the power metering show false information. The device is not show on list but still summary of power consumption is.

Aeotec power meter 3 phase is having 4 power use device. 3 for phases and 1 for summary but after deselect option to disable count by fibaro power use the power meter still sum power use

@askpc, I got to the bottom of it and I understand what you mean.

 

However, due to the fact that you installed Aeotec Clamp Power Meter at the beginning of your electrical installation and then you have our modules which also measure it, you receive duplicated readings.

 

As we pointed out, there is an option to exclude a device from being showed in Consumption panel but that is not enough.

 

As you pointed out, Dashboard readings are still practically doubled. Currently, it works as intended because this Dashboard energy consumption reading quickly sums up ALL energy readings for a quick glimpse (it doesn't respect any excluding options).

 

I will submit your ideas to our developer team for discussion.

Only solution, until Fibaro realize to develop central metering option, is to create VD that will calculate correct non zwave metered devices consumption and assign it to not used module/switch. There are few topics about it here in forums e.g. :

 

It works like this: Total consumption from Aeon - all other measured devices =  consumption to be assigned to not used device. Than you have to hide aeon devices not to be used in consumption status bar. At the end, you will have all devices consumptions + rest calculated from aeon decreased by the formula (see my example attached). In consumption panel, you van still use aeon device for historic data display and to display consumption from aeon on mobile/main page, you can use VD.
