Dimmer 2 firmware update fails

Hi,

 

I have been trying to update firmware to two dimmer 2 modules from 3.2 to 3.5.

 

It starts normally by downloading the FW but after couple of seconds after uploading starts I get Fail status.

 

Any idea what could be wrong, HCL is reset to factory defaults but it does on help. Behaviour is same with both modules.

 

HCL has been very close to the modules during the update. Update to RGBW module worked fine.

Your device may be too far away. You must have your HCL near the device to be updated.

Actually I moved HCL right next to module so distance should not be a problem.

I had same problem with one of my RGBW devices.  Excluded device then included again was the only way I could get mine to update.    Distance wasn't the problem as its still in situ in the kitchen and HC2 is about 5-6 meters away through two internal walls and kitcken units.
