Keyfob added as a door sensor's child

clafib

Question

I have replaced the battery of a fibaro door sensor, but the battery level it was the same (low).

The soft reconfiguration do not have resolved the problem.

Then i have removed from the zwave network the sensor and re-added.

It works, with the battery level seems correct, but there is a new (strange) problem:

As a secondary id to the door sensor, is added a secondary controller that i had excluded times ago from the z-network.

Is an aeotec keyfob, excluded from the network because his pooor battery duration (3 weeks).

Now is again here, as a child of the door sensor(288.0.1).

If i put the hcl in remove mode and press "learn mode" on the aeotec keyfob, it writes something on the log but don't remove it.

If i try to "force remove" the keyfob, it will disappear from the list, but if i make a refresh of the page, also door sensor disappears.

It seems some problem with the zwave tables, or something else.

Any suggestion for removal of the keyfob and finally adding the door sensore alone ?

  • A correction:

It is not the Aeotec keyfob already removed.

It is (seems) a Remote control (???) with the parameters of the door sensor.

Can't delete it without deleting the door sensor.

    Hi @clafib,

This "remote" is a slave device of Fibaro door/window sensor, because of binary inputs and some users use it as a scene controller. Also this "remote" displays always when device have "Send scene" commad class.

Little different "remote" with different icon is shown if device support "Central Scene" command class.

  • Ok, then this is normal appereance with a new door sensor added.

I have another 7 sensors with binary input but i have not slave devices like this.

Probably this is a new feature added with  the 4.140 or other 4.1x (i have added the sensor when i have purchase the hcl, with the 4.080 ...),

Thank you for your response, so i leave the sensor as is and reput on his location, near the window.
