Error detection aperture in metalic doors

APica

Question

Hi,

I have two different devices in two different doors. The sensors set in the wood door works perfect, but the one mounted in a metalic door stops working after few hours. If I deatach the sensor from the door, it works perfect, so seems that the problem is in the material of the door.

Is there any workaround to work with metalic doors?

Thank you

You can try mounting it on a plastic spacer with 2 pieces of double sided tape

Any tip about the size of the spacer?
