Fibaro Window Sensor 2 no binary input

Turribeach

Question

Hi, the Fibaro Window Sensor used to come with a binary input that could be used for other integrations. The new Fibaro Window Sensor 2 does not have this feature. Are there any replacement products from Fibaro that can do that? Do they still make the Fibaro Window Sensor v1? I can't believe they would remove such a useful feature.

There are other sensors which have binary input.

  • That Zipato sensor is not supported by my Gateway plus it's been phased out like the Fibaro. Zipato now makes a new Door Window Sensor which doesn't support inputs and two other multisensors (Trio and Quad) which also don't support inputs. Besides I prefer to stay with Fibaro if possible.
