Inclusion Qubino 3 Phase Smart Meter

StefanS

Question

Hi there...

I just installed and included a Qubino 3 Phase Smart Meter. I tryed both ways .. Secure and non secure inclusion,

but I do not get all modules listed in HC2.

I can only See the power consumption of 2 phases and the value does Not change in any way.

Is someone of you using the same Smart Meter and can give me an advice what to do?

thx

Stefan

I've just installed the three phase version at home and had a similar experience.

Had to add and remove it three times before everything worked as expected.

Also check that you have wired the correct phases up to the corresponding clamps (i.e. L1 on same phase as Clamp 1, L2 on same phase as Clamp 2, L3 on same phase as Clamp 3).

I also had to disable energy monitoring on all devices except the total home usage meter else it doubles everything up.

Hope this helps!

We have a various customers who use Fibaro HC2 having problems right now. We received various support request, and most of them was related to a bug on parameters in the latest release of their firmware, that is what was told us form users themselves who reach the Fibaro support.

I suppose that can be also your case, I hope that they will solve the issue asap.
The only solution for now told us from users was to reinstall the previous FW.

Fibaro is currently working on proper implementation of Smart Meter and 3 Phase Smart Meter, in the latest beta 4.542 part of the template has been already implemented (Template IDs 847 and 848), so we can expect soon both Qubino meters working properly with HCx

Are they working for sure on it or just saying it?

Has there been any progress? I would like to buy the Qubino 3-phase smart meter, but I can't get any confirmation, that it would work with Fibaro.

The meter itself is working for me too on the Hc2 (4.560). But I want to use it with the BICOM432-40-WM1 switch to be able to control the load, and that does not work.

The manual says that for this to work, then I need to set parameter 7 to 3 and parameter 100 to 1. After setting the parameters, the device has to be excluded and then included again. The problem is that when I do this, the parameters are reset to defualt again. So Endpoint 3 which is supposed to be enabled, is never enabled.

Hello.

Thank you for the OTA file.

I have updated the fimrware via z-wave pc controler and included the qubino 3 phase smart meter into my HC3 hub. I have now 7 x cos FI instead 4 x and there is not [W] for each phase.

Anybody any suggestion how to solve this issue.

Hello,

I can confirm, if you change firmware to mentioned above with Z-Wave PC Controller - Qubino 3 Phase Smart Meter works with HC3 and HC3 Lite.

What version do you get om the 3 Phase Meter after the firmware update?
I have two 3 Phase Meters and they are both on firmware 4.61.

Just want to see if it is worth the risk of trying to update and if I should put the money to buy a Z-wave USB-key.
