  • I bought one! It works with IFTTT, so scenes can be sent...

Let's see how this ends with Fibaro  :)

  • installed the Beddi in December and it works quite good.

I programmed the three buttons with various actions:

    1. button one press = light in bedroom on 35%

    2. button two press = light on 100%

    3. button hold = light off

Beddi calls this IFTTT maker channel; is now called webhooks.  U need the maker key which can be found in the webhook settings as the end of the URL string (long on).  I used to start scripts to turn the light on to a specific value using LUA.

The delay is 3 seconds from pressing the button to put the light on or off.  Taking in account that the Beddi first talks using BT to the Iphone, the iphone starts a webhook applet and send this to the HC2 for the action, this is not to bad.

The beddi should ofcourse have some WIFI chip online to connect directly to the HC2 instead of using the Iphone as a sort of bridge.....That is poor designed and cheap for the wrong reason (it can't start scripts using HTTP GET POST PUT DELETE because the Iphone blockes these actions).

At the end it works fine, but there is room for optimisation (let the beddi be a Zwave/wifi enabled light/speaker/temperature sensor)...
