Non-Z-wave interference?

knuth

Question

My plumber has installed a "waterstop" unit from Altech in my new house, to close the main water valve when triggered. Such a unit is required in new installations, according to him. It has a wireless connection to two leak detectors, and operates on a frequency of 868.100 MHz. That seems very close to the European z-wave frequency of 868.4 MHz. Is there a risk of interference? Or will frequencies and protocols be sufficiently different to avoid problems?

By the way, the z-wave standard indicates two frequencies, 868.4 MHz and 869.85 MHz. Are both used in standard equipment?
