I’m in planing stage, but dimmers and HC2 is already in a box in the livingroom.

planning longtermt to automate everything, but it will be in stages.

first question though,.

the sensors (sauron eyes). I have a closet wide enough to have 3 rolling doors. I plan on installing lights behind all three.

My question: does the sensor react to any movement or to heat signatures?

Cause if they react to any movement the lights in the neighbouring closets will light up when I slide the doors open... which I am not interested in

Hi,

Sauron eye is a standard PIR sensor, measuring Infrared light (it can be called heat map), so if moving object will have different temperature than background it will trigger the sensor, depence on sensitivity which you can change in settings. Detection range i showed in the manual.
