HCL in Recovery : how long does it takes ?

I very recently got a brand new HCL. Startup went well. Firmware update to 4550 was ok. Until I created an extra user, using the same email-adress as the superuser. I lost superuser acces.

Contacted support: solution was to go in recovery.

Recovery started. Since more than 6 hours I get the message : "System is going down for a reboot now. Please wait". When I want to exit from recovery : "System busy".

The 3 leds right are burning. I can ping the HCL on a different IP adress. When I want to enter: it blocks. I get a warning mail: security alert, suspicious logon.

How long do I have to wait before "factory reset logon" ?

There was only one device in one room  added.

Any help ?

Thnx

Hello @Emdeka

Recovery definitely should not take 6 hours.

What do you mean that it blocks when you try to enter? Does login page load?

Remember that after recovery your credentials are changed to admin/admin.

Here is what you can do:

1) clear the Internet cache of your browser. The way of deleting cache varies depending on a browser. You can find an instruction here

Please login or register to see this link.

2) try to access Fibaro with another Internet browser or in incognito/private mode

3) unplug the device from the power for few minutes and then plug it again

4) check whether you Home Center's IP address has not changed after recovery
