Question

Posted

Hi all,

I'm about to install some new 2019 Panasonic aircons with the wifi module. So they will be on the IP network. Is there a virtual device or is there a way to control them with my Fibaro?

Thank you,

There are only one way to control by using TCP with SDK/API doc provided by the manufacture.

I have the same question
Panasonic CS-XZ35VKEW can't find the way to control this air conditioner by IP.

Now I control it in application Panasonic Comfort Cloud.
Maybe someone knows how to add this device to HC2?

Thanks

I think it can be done via IFTTT.

fibaro and Panasonic have a channel on ifttt so you can link them there.

And then make a quick app to control the ifttt commands.

I use this to control my Panasonic air to water heat pump.

Panasonic Appliances Air Conditioning Europe (PAPAEU)

Our IOT R&D team is working a lot on new developments, but, unfortunately, there is no option for connecting Comfort Cloud to IFTTT and we cannot give you the API, nowadays.

Then it only works for air to water heat pumps from Panasonic.

It is called aquarea smart cloud in ifttt.

Then the only option is intesis box or a zwave ir solution.

IFTTT support has now gone as Panasonic no longer wish to support it.

Any one been able to figure out an alternative method?

You'll want to buy an Intesis dongle that you connect to the AC indoor unit. Then install the Virtual Device from Fibaro Marketplace to control it.
