HC3 setting reporting association

Pete123

Question

Hello,

I am trying to setup associations on a device without template.

To be able to get the device to report to HC3 temperature change and others, I need to set association to HC3, but I do not see the option to set a association to HC3 in the list, like it was on HC2.

I use the same devices on my old HC2 and everything works.

Home someone knows how this should work now and how to set it up.

Settings -> Devices -> Z-Wave -> the device you wish to change -> Associations -> you might remove "Equal security Level" and "only visible devices" -> select Endpoint -> Group you wish to send association -> select target -> click on + sign on the left side near the line you just changed.

  • Thank you, but it is not possible to select the controller, only other z-wave devices.

Got a reply from support. A solution should be available in the release planned for 20th of Feb.

if you uncheck "Equal security Level" and "only visible devices", you should be able to select "zwave" as target, this is the Controller, it is the first item in the "target device" list

That is what I thought, but it is not working. Let us hope it is fixed in the release that is hopefully coming today.
