Hello Web Relay

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am new to the forum and struggling due to my age lol

I wonder if anyone could point me in the right direction after hours of testing and researching

I have a device that controls a relay via HTTP.  I created a virtual device in HC2 and tried both strings and lua without success and a bit of hair loss.

If type into a browser http://<ipaddress>/30000/01  it will turn the relay on

If type into a browser http://<ipaddress>/30000/00  it will turn the relay off

it also works using curl

I am unsure if the issue is that the port is defined after a / rather than a :

Any help would be gratefully received

Thank you in anticipation

Hi Andrew,

is it possible you provide some more info about that web relay, like model, producer or at least website link? Will be much easier to help you with knowing that information.
