4.581 system freez

Hi for the first time since long time my system has "frozen" this morning, I didn't had no more access to the gui and zwave command start having long lag (> 1mn) .

I've just rebooted right now the system and keep inform here if it happens again in the next few hours.

I was in the last stable version 4.580 before installing 4.581 and everything was stable. Let's see and keep posting here.

Confirmed. It is possible this issue started on a recent firmware, say 4.570 and still exists on 4.581. You might remember I sent a PM a while ago, mentioning I had a "system freeze" and that was something I had not seen for years... Then it happened again when I was on 4.580. I wasn't home but my daughter mentioned the issue started with "very long delays" which may indeed mean "a minute or more". My HC2 has no more devices since last Friday, it has been factory reset, so I cannot test anything. But I think it was worth confirming your issue...

Correct I now remember, I didn't made the link before your post, thank you Peter. Ok since the reboot I've no issue everything is working nicely. I didn't made any change before the freeze, I didn't touch to any device param, scenes or scripts ... except the firmware update. I'll keep an eye on it, If the problem reapears agains I'll try if possible to sniff the network.

Yes I  read your post about the big bang, congrats i'm currently adapting/rewriting my scripts, i don't have the talent many of you have, it will take time before beeing ready for the big jump.

Also having system freezes on the latest beta. Reboots temporarily solves the problem, then freezes again. No other changes to the HC2. 
 

Tony, did you manage to solve the problem?

@Kfruechtl as previously said a simple reboot in my case fixed it,  until now i didn't noticed it again. 

I don't have any idea on how i can help   does it hapen every days ? can you try unlpug/wait few secs/replug the hc2 instead of doing a  reboot? don't believe that it will change anything but never know. 

Could be intresting to sniff the network aswell just in case something is going sudenly wrong on the zwave network.

i have HC2 and this update (4.581) appears to be all aimed at HC3 migration so do i need to update?

No... nothing new except migration capability.

I don't know if you have HC3 already, but if you do, please do not migrate yet. HC3 has totally different approach and features, need to learn how to deal with that first.

By the way I'm working on All-in-One for HC3... 80% percent already works.
