Fibaro-Compatible Aircondotion (split)

FJ1300

Question

Hi guys,

I'm a little desperate. I'm planning to install an aircondition (split, 2 rooms) in our house. Of course I'd like to integrate and control it over my HC2. Over here in Germany I found nobody who knew about 100% z-wave compatible a/c's. Over google, I found several solutions, which either need additional hardware (IR-transponder or likewise) which unfortunately are not compatible with my wife or a/c-VD's which control devices not available in Germany or in range.

Asking Fibaro-Support for a compatibility-list wasn't successful at all (like "look for yourself").

Could you please help me out?

Hi. The only native solution I’ve seen is a USB stick for Electrolux ACs from zwave.me:

Please login or register to see this link.

Sorry, the link is in Russian, but I think you will get the point. But I don’t think there are some big benefits compared to say ZXT-120 other then getting reports from the AC unit itself.

Hi,

Try looking at Sensibo, which is able to control a lot of A/C's and is pretty wife compatible.. There is a VD for this device in the forum..

Maybe this could work for you..?

Thank you so far, but this isn't exactly what I was searching for: I'm searching for a list of (or any) out-of-the-box fibaro-compatible airconditioner without extra hardware, available in Germany. Thank you!
