Need help with HC2 and Aeotec TRVs

h2009

Question

Hi All

So I really need help getting my heating working.

I have Aeotec Radiator Thermostat (TRVs) now fitted to all Rads which is nearly the same as Eurospirit TRVs.

The TRVs have 4 modes: off/heat/max/heat save. This never seems to change or be controlled by the Heat Panel in HC2.

Then the TRVs can have the temperature set which controls the valve position.

Please note each area in my house has its own zone in the Heat Panel.

Going back to the modes:
off = There is no water flow.
Heat = Valve open and controlled by TRV*

heat save = part open? But doesn’t ever reach temp

Max = fully open regardless of temperature set.

Issues :
* if the room reaches temperature, the valves spin but never closes fully and the room continue to heat up.

-  if the TRV is set off and the heat panel is calling for heat on the TRV it will never change modes and the Call got Heat scripts keeps calling for heat and wasting energy.

So basically what I need (I think) is some kind of method to control the modes when temperature is:

Room higher/equal to than set temperature

Room is cooler than set temperature.

I use the following scripts:

Boiler call - Call for heat by Dave Harrison v1.1

TRV update - Fibaro Heat control on schedule by Tinman

I’ve also tried TRV boost script by Dave Harrison.

Can anyone help with getting this working correctly?
