Merge Z-wave Networks

Marwan

Question

Hello everybody,

 I am kinda new to the whole z-wave thing, I just realized that i can't add more than 230 device to a single z-wave network. However, I can add slave controllers to the network. So will each slave controller will give me the ability to add extra 230 new device to the network or what. IF not what can do to extend the number of z-wave devices on the network or at least enable routing between different networks so that I get centralized control

Thanks in advance

    you can add slave controllers.

    @akatar

    So you are saying that the number of devices that could be in a z-wave network = 230 * ( 1(Primary controller) + (number of slave controllers) )?

    and all devices will be centralized for all devices from the primary controller?!!

    It depends

    with homeseer you see all devices in one list, there is no difference wich controller it is

    with hc2 all devices are on the master hc2, all slave devices has a another colour, so slave 1 a bit yellow etc. you can create all scenes on the master hc2

    with hc3, master/slave controllers not possible (yet)
