External antenna for Bidi Z-wave device (Fibaro-Nice)

Hi,

I have recently bought 2 Bidi Z-wave devices (IBT4ZWAVE) to control my Nice motorized outdoor gates.

It seems like the z-wave signal is not good enough and I would like to follow Fibaro's recommendation and buy an external antenna to attach to the device.

I the user manual for the device they say I shoud buy an antenna that follow these parametrs:

This antenna can be connected to the device through screws in the device.

I could not find any Z-wave antenna to match these requirements.

Can someone please advise?

Sorry I cannot help with the antenna issue, but I am looking at buying the same device for my gate.

Which hub are you using it with? Is it compatible with HC2?

Thanks!

Hello,

I used two pieces (approx. 1m lenght) of 75ohm antenna cable as antennae. One for the Bidi device and one for the door opener itself. It works like a charm.
