I'm Mark, an IT consultant in the UK. Currently I'm slowly building an entirely unnecessarily complicated smart home for myself in order to eventually be able to offer SH design for others (with the help of my SH friendly electrician!). As I support many businesses who employ staff with a large spectrum of IT competences, I understand how important it is for SH systems, like any other system, to work for everyone, not just the tech savvy. My house has normal light switches (in some rooms at least) to prove they work!
