Oke, this needs some investigation. It looks a little above my skills.

I thought it would just show up in the devices list of z2m, and then pass the entities to the Mosquitto broker.

Funny thing is that my G4 unifi doorbell show up in the logs 🤪

Correct! In my case it took no additional effort. Take the device, power it up. Click "Permit Join (All)" in the Z2M Browser interface. Then hold the FP1 button for 5 seconds, the blue LED flashes. Click it maybe once or twice after that (possibly not needed and 100% superstition) and about 10 seconds later it appears in the list, and data gets sent to the broker. After that, I rename the device and that is all I did.

I am not sure if it is relevant, my ZigBee channel is 25

@petergebruers Got it working!

I needed a 3 meter extension cord to move the usb stick away from the Nas.

Oh I feel such a fool for not mentioning this. My coordinator is on a 75cm extension cord. Without the extension, ZigBee performance is very bad. In my case it is also plugged into USB2 because USB3 makes it even worse.

Thanks for reporting back. Glad it is working!

Lovely :)

That one sensor felt a bit alone. Now they can team up!

@petergebruers

Do you use the Fp1 presence event "approach" and "away" entities?

I am a bit struggeling here to get it to work good enough, more or less when

2 or more person's trigger the "away" event and someone stays in the room it

gives a little trouble. (got some extra motion sensors coming today to hopefully solve this).

(edit) Woke up early this morning and added a p1, and it works like a charm. Now lets break it again with some change's in the settings 🤣

btw z2m 1.3 -> Basic region support for Xiaomi RTCZCGQ11LM (Aqara FP1)

I'm already late, but I want to share my purchase, I bought Dremel DigiLab Source:

 it was $1300 instead of $1600.  I wanted an enclosed printer to mitigate any noise and smell of 3D printing and to keep curious kitties away from moving parts and the hot extruder. Print quality is impressive and I like that I can print anywhere from low-quality 0.3mm drafts up to 0.05mm “ultra-quality” prints 😍
