Hi Everyone, had my HC2 for quite a few years.

I have a simple question in relation to the old Dimmer 1 module. Can it be configured to operate a non dimmable light, like in the dimmer 2 parameter 32,  in other words just as an on off switch, i cant seem to find the parameter?

Yes, but some lights might not turn off completely because a small current passes when the dimmer is off. If that happens you can try a "Bypass 1" (not a Bypass 2, it is not compatible with Dimmer 1)

 

To make Dimmer 1 work in on/off mode, set

 

parameter 12 to 99 - Maximum Dimmer level control

parameter 13 to 98 - Minimum Dimmer level control

Many thanks for this info. if i get the problem where the light does not completely turn off Ill fit the bypass 1 .
