If you have any tips for migration / things to watch out for, please let me know.

thanks

Yes, watch out for these world's most dangerous animals:

  • Snakes.
  • Dogs (rabies) (Kills 59,000 per year)
  • Assassin Bugs (Chagas disease) (Kills 10,000 per year)
  • Scorpions. (Kills 3,300 humans per year)
  • Crocodiles. (Kills 1,000 humans per year)
  • Elephants. (Kills 600 humans per year)
  • Hippos. (Kills 500 humans a year)
  • Lions. (Kills 200 humans per year)

Regarding migration tips to transfer the devices from your Hubitat to the HC3. Remove the Z-Wave devices one by one from the Hubitat and include them into the HC3 and rebuild all scenes.

  • Good advice :) Yes i made some progress slowly yesterday. Next working on motion-lighting concept. I see that is easy to do the equivalent of "means to turn on", but it seems I'd need 3 or 4 separate scenes just to do "if motion turn on light, if still motion continue, if no motion for x mins, turn off"...... I suspect i need to "find a QA" or write some own code.

edit: just saw your blog - great!

I will add... the most dangerous animal is man. Specifically "idiot".

Otherwise, welcome to the forum. Write questions objectively, in sufficient detail. That's the only way the GURUs and enthusiasts here can help you as effectively as possible.
