Netatmo plugin HC2

Hello

I noticed that nnetatmo plugin in HC2 is not working any more . I have the newest firmware installed. Has anyone the same problem ? What is the support opinion?

It seems that no Netatmo app on both HC2 and HC3 work anymore since 12 July. Next to a non working Netatmo @ HC3, I have an OpenHab implementation connected to Netatmo and that's still works fine. 

 

Any clues on why the Fibaro apps don't work anymore??

Because Netatmo changed their way of login, which they announced a year ago. Fibaro was warned and users have frequently asked them to update their apps, but Fibaro simply hasn't done so yet.

Is this something Fibaro needs to solve?? I would assume the QA needs to be changed if the netatmo api login changes.

Yes, as published in this forum by Sankotronic, just do a search for it in this forum, you will found multiple references.

 

There is a stand-alone solution for Netatmo on HC2 and an integrated solution for Sankotronic’s home automation system.

 

I use stand-alone, works like a charm.

Too bad there's also a Netatmo QA for HC3

 

I migrated my scene with Netatmo weather data to my OpenHab server, love that community software, no spontanious reboots

Hello, this means there no solution for integrating netatmo to HC3?

I didn't see any and I do see some other members also having the same problem.That is the risk of a one-person community solution.....

It is a bit different from Fibaro Netatmo plugin which devices could be used as triggers and selected for room temperature and humidity. With my solution you can still trigger scenes, but with global variables that are added by this solution. Unfortunately VD can't be used for room temperature and humidity
