potential free sensor connection diagram to fibaro smart implant

Recommended Posts

Hello , is there a schema out there for connection of telemlecanic limit switch (preferable potential free) to fibaro smart implant.

purpose : to see if garage door is open or closed and creating remote buttons to open or close garage door remotely.

i'm completely new at this , so it would be fine if someone could help me out.

    Thanks for the swift and clear explanation but i was wondering if it wouldn't be better to use the 2 output relays on the implant : one to open and one to close because if you're not at home and get a false reading of the sensor then when you work with  an impulse and the garge door was closed ( bad reading of sensor or lag) then it can open .

    You have any insights in this?

    Do you know if the settings for fibaro are the same as with homey pro?

    thx in advance

    @Leander H.

    first of all, find out if this mode supports the door drive.
    Most simple drives use only one input in the open-stop-close-stop mode.
    There are also motors that have another input only for opening (for example, for the fire system), or the inputs have a configured function.
    Then you can use both relays each for your direction.
