Hi to you all,

Signed in to the FGibaro Forum to learn about Fibaro.

Planning to buy a Fibaro gateway to control my (little) home.

Using some Fibaro stuff, Philips Hue, Netatmo and Sonos. Planning to buy camara's for security.

The first to find out what to buy HC3 or the HC3 Lite, What are the differences, possibilities of both and so on.

Have a small house so I think HJC3 Lite but not if the functionalities are limited.

Experiences!?

Hi @Ed Bos, welcome to the forum. Good luck with your choices.

Yes, the HC3L is more limited compaired to the HC3. So if you want to play to the max, buy the HC3. 😃

HC3L:

The number of scenes has been upgradet to 40.

I don't recommend to include more than 30 zwave devices.

The startup takes at least 5 minutes.

Had the idea once to start a Dutch Fibaro discord channel, but I don't know if there is enough interest.

hi mate, i am newbie here too,

your ques: the HC3 or the HC3 Lite, it really depends on your specific needs and the size of your home. Here's a brief rundown:

HC3: This is the more advanced option. It offers a wider range of functionalities and features. If you have a larger home or plan to expand your smart home setup significantly, the HC3 might be the way to go.

HC3 Lite: As the name suggests, this is a more basic version. It's great for smaller setups and should work well if you have a smaller house. It still provides essential smart home control but may have limitations compared to the HC3.
