Battery strange behaviour

COAT

Question

Hi everyone!
I need your help.
Why does the door/window sensor 2 work well with EVE batteries and not with others?

Let me explain.
The sensor's battery was low, so I purchased the gray battery (EMB) in picture.
From the first installation it seemed that the sensor did not see the battery.
But using the tester the new battery is charged.
Nonetheless, after a few tests of taking it off and putting it back on, the sensor finally turned on with the battery at 100%.

After a few seconds, however, the indicator dropped to 0%.

I tried doing a soft reset but it was no use.
I finally tried using one of the red and black (EVE) batteries from another sensor and at that point everything was fine.

Can you tell me the reason for this behavior?
Is there any incompatibility?
The batteries have the same code and the same voltage. How is it possible?

Thank you

maybe the emb bateries are dead ... i think if you only connect voltage meter to it it will display 3.6V but batery is not under load, so when you put it into DWS the voltage drops ... those are mine toughts

I have made the Experience that the EVE-Batterys are shown as Empty half the Time (Despite the Module working fine for months) when we Receive them. My Solution would be the following:
1. Take out the Battery
2. Press the Tamper-Contact on the Side of the Contact a few Times (To get rid of any Current left)
3. Reinsert the Battery into the Module

Sometimes i have to do it a few Times, but most often it works.
Good alternatives for me are Batterys from "Saft" or "Dewtox".

    Hi @Robin_561

Thanks for your replay and I apologies for my late answer.

It is a strange behaviour and many times it doesn't work.....but at the end your solution works.

I hope that this strange level read will be fix in future.

    Thanks for your suggestion
