fgbs-222 / magnetic sensor / garage gate

kalypso44

Question

Good morning,

Before getting down to business, I used an fgs214 module coupled with the fgdw-002 door opening module, but hey, sometimes the magnetic sensor moves, and when the door is closed, well the door detector remains open, because the sensor is not facing correctly. This solution is not suitable.

After research on the web, the fgbs222 smart implant connected to a magnetic sensor seems much more appropriate.

I paired the smart implant module on my Fibaro home center 3 box (firmware 5.150.18), not without difficulty, it does not accept the inclusion “Add S0 security mode if the device supports it charge ". While waiting for the transformer, I used my cell phone transformer, with a DIY USB cable.

My system:

Smart implant €41

Garage door operating with a dry contact coupled with a push button.

A magnetic sensor 10€

  (I only put one)

A 12v 6w transformer that I'm waiting for €7

For the connection diagram, I was inspired by this example found

For the parameters I wanted to take inspiration from this list

Except which is not the same as that offered by the fibaro interface!?

For example in the list parameter 20 (setting of the monostable switch/dry contact) does not exist in the fibaro interface which starts at parameter 24

And there is a big moment of solitude, I don't know how to configure the parameters for it to work.

I would have liked to find a QA dedicated to this module on the fibaro site, but I couldn't find one.

It’s still a shame!

I need help please?

What should I adjust in the settings to make this work.

I did a search on the forum, I found lots of topics dedicated to this module, but not precisely what I'm looking for.

There probably is one, but I haven't gotten my hands on it yet, in the meantime I'll search the forum.

And what do you configure for the magnetic sensor please? Binary mode?

Thank you for your help.

@kalypso44Hello. it's nice that you did your research before asking the forum and got interested yourself. I would almost say that you are an exception.

Look at the next post. There is a picture where you can see the input settings.

Otherwise, to your question. You write about input 1, but input 2 is connected.

However, if you do not disconnect the local protection, input 1 will affect (trigger) output 1.

So a possible solution is to use in2 and out1... but set them correctly.
