ZXT-600 use as a learning infrared

karaokek

Question

What did I want to do – control my electric curtains with HC2

Need to learn 3 infrared codes from my curtain remote – open, stop, close.

Although should have been  easy I sort of lost my way – I’m sure the majority of members of this forum would/will find it very easy.

I found this YouTube very helpful to get me started

You have to use IR Learning Mapping Table (Parameter Number 25) when learning new codes.

Remembering that the ZXT600 is really for use for Aircon units might explain why when using some of the codes they did not seem to work.

So, in my case, I used the following IR Learning Mapping Table codes

30 dry mode (may come up as dry air) for “open”

31 auto mode for “stop”

32 fan mode (may come up as fan only) for “close”

I, as always, accept that my way may not be the best: but, it worked for me.

I presume that one could learn any infrared codes
