Zigbee M100 Motion sensor connect to HC3

Kazokas

Question

Hello,

Can somebody please help me to understand what can be wrong?

I bought from Aliexpress the "Loginovo" M100 Zigbee ceiling motion sensor.

I succefully added to the Fibaro HC3. But the device appears like only not configured device. Its not active. I can't use it as a trigger to turn on the other devices like lights. It is possible some how to make it works or configure? Or it will not work with HC3?

Pictures attached.

Hi @Kazokas ,

Have you read this:

before grabbing your wallet?

It might work if you go for zigbee2mqtt or next is to cash out for a Tuya ZigBee hub. ;-)

BTW - I might get to the different sensor, but I checked dozen of the similar ones and they all have same description.

Thank you so much for the answer.

As I see just blow some money to the air. :D

I just really like the flush look of this sensor in the ceiling and that it's very small. And thought that Fibaro is working with all Zigbee :D I am not professional in this kind of stuff. :)

    Hi @Kazokas ,

money is not necessarily blown in the air. It is just a problem that at the moment ZigBee on HC3 is still in beta, which means in development and compatibility with devices is questionable. To find out what works or not with HC3 ZigBee you can find here:

You can still try to see if it is possible to make it working with Fibaro over the zigbee2mqtt, but I can't help at this moment with that since I'm not familiar with it.

Maybe there is someone here that knows more and made this sensor working.
