Hi,

 

i am trying to update my Yubii Home from 5.150.15 to 5.160.30 but this is not working.

I can start to download the update (5.160.30) but it stops with an error message. Something like "CRC-Error" file not found or so.

The download itself is "slow" and the update-process too. The Yubii Home is not updating and after a while the LED is flashing red.

Then i have to unplug or press the Reset-Button to restart and getting it up again.

 

For me it looks like if it's not possible to update from 5.150.15 to 5.160.30.

@Medinashine Hello and welcome to the commuity.

 

I did the same with my Yubii home controller without issues.

 

Try the following:

Delete the browser history on your browser. I'm using the google chrome browser for Fibaro homecenters.

Restart your pc

Restart the Yubii home

Try to update again

    I cleaned the browser (edge) history and cache, but its not working.

    For me it looks like the memory is not big enough to store the new "update file".

     

    The update process is stopping at 80%.

    I think a developer has to look at this problem.

    I'm sitting in front of the Yubii Home again and the LED is flashing red again.

    I pushed the reset button an got this error message : CRC-error or something like that.

    Then you should contact support. 
     

    Maybe worth a try. First make all your backups, then update without making a backup.

    Well, what can I say, I am not satisfied with the Yubii-Home product. I can't recommend it to anyone. Look around for something better.

    Did you contact support or tried to update with a separate backup?

    With the new software update (5.170.16) it was now possible to perform an update on the Yubii Home. Why did that work now?
