fibaro double switch 2

bikerdude

Question

Hello all

I have a double switch 2 (FGS223) connected to a dry switch which in turn is connected to a pellet stove and controlled via home assistant.

I had this switch for many years and all was well

Last spring I had a failure on the pellet stove where i had to replace the pellet stove on/off switch. This meant that to identify the issue i had to remove all components.

After the re-assembly if the components an re pairring the fibaro switch all worked well so i thought.

My automation requires to verify that if i am home between 07:30 and 22:30 and that the room temperature is below 18.5 deg.C. the pellet stove turns on.

during the winter and spring it worked flawlessly.

Now to temperature is always above 20 Deg, the pellet stove still turns on at 7:30. THI IS THE ISSUE.

I deleted all automations form home assistant (except for light control and geofencing) and the fibaro switch still turns on at 7:30

Therefore i assume the issue is in thew switch settings.

In looking through the settings of the switch via z-wave js i do not see any issues that would cause this

I enclose a copy of the setting for this fibaro switch

Can you please guide me and find what is causing this switch to activate

Thank you in advance

Switch does not have any schedule feature supported, your HA must be the reason for this behavior.

  • Hello @m.roszak

Thank you for taking for your time to answer

I deleted all the automation form home assistant to no avail

HA logs tell me that the action was triggered by the switch XXX.

I have not developed scenes, devices, scripts, blueprints at all to the point that my automation.yaml is empty

All the logs and debug messages in node red have no mention of this action

Should i just remove the fibaro switch and re-install it?

    Thank you once again

Maybe the association is set directly between some device and the switch?

You can always exclude it, and include it (it will change device network address), but...
If this is an association from other device it will stay there and still will be send, just to a void - it is best to try to remove it.
