Some 🐞 in new version (quick preview)

After installing new version on my iPhone and iPad with iOS 18.2.1 I noticed following bugs:

 

1. My favorite devices disappeared from favorite start-up view and I had to add them again
2. Opening and closing QA is not working properly in the way that after e.g. Sonos API player QA is opened and closed and then e.g. Enphase Envoy QA is opened I actually look at the Sonos API player QA even I actually opened Enphase Envoy QA. Only title is always OK. This occur randomly and more often after QA of general type is opened and closed.
3. Showing "log" entry is working only on some of the QA types (definitely not on child devices of any type). Also, on some of my main QA after log is shown it is not removed as on web GUI.

 

I also have feeling that app is a bit slower than previous version. Didn't check QA behavior if new view is turned off.

Only on the Parent QA view all the 4 labels created were no more visible in the Parent QA plugin. Looking at the PC Edit view, all labels are shown with the right initial name but not shown in the Preview mode. I had to suppress all labels and to recreate them all with their respective name and Id and then they were again shown and updated via the self:updateView("[LabelId]", "texte", "message") function.

I am not sure that this issue was comming from the new mobile Application but I discovered it using it. 

Maybe it is an issue of the HC3 latest beta version ( 5.171.15).

I still got same issue with favorite device in version 2.4. Did you figure out a way around this problem with iPhone and iPad??

Yep, very annoying. Tried to completely close the app after every time use, but that also doesn't help. I don't understand why it should take that long, because it should have the first priority to solve and there are still developers available (?) and I probably don't understand because there is no communication, no explanation from Fibaro about this issue.

Just to add to the above list:

 

4) Very frequently when Yubii Home app version 2.4 is opened on either iPhone or iPad with latest iOS it shows either of this two screens:

and I have to close Yubii app and restart it and after that is OK, but then favorite devices are lost. Note that both iPhone and iPad are connected to my local network when this happens.

 

I have now Ubiquiti Unify system with UDR7 and several U7 APs that my iPhone/iPad are connecting depending on location within my house or garden. I do not use WiFi meshing and all APs are connected with cable to the network.

 

At first I thought that this happens only after I was away on G5 and after returning home. But that is not the case and it is possible that also it is caused by iPhone and iPad AP roaming?

 

Let me know if you need more testing and will do so that this very annoying bug is finally resolved. Thank you!

We are looking into it, favorites issue is already addressed but we are searching for the cause of not connecting in some cases.
