Which Z-wave engine for Home Center 3 Lite?

Hi,

I am new to Fibaro and just received a new Home Center 3 Lite.

Now I am unsure which Z-wave engine I should choose, 2 or 3 (beta).

I have read through many forum articles but I am still confused as some say 2 and others say 3.

I will replace a Devolo Home Center and I have different z-wave devices, mainly 4 Thermostats (Z-Wave-EVR ST814) and 4 Plugs (NCA-1024 Fibaro Funkstecker) for heat control.

Can you please give me an advice as this is an essential step which cannot be reversed without loosing all configuration.

Regards

Martin

Beta stands for a system, that is still under developement. That means, some bugs can still be hiding there, (and they definitelly are). So i recommend to go for engine 2 rather, especially if you are new to the system. It might take months, years until you get really deeply familiar with LUA coding and with the system at all.
