  1. I think this is excellent news for installers . Not so sure how it will play out for the DIY market though...,
  2. Buy an Automation Bridge, it will allow you to add all your Fibaro HC2 devices to HomeKit
  3. @pg12575, I don’t believe there is any limitations on Google Home integration however if you also want to use Siri the standard Apple 100 device limit applies.
  4. Have you manually added all the required parameters? In particular, parameter 15 which sets the report interval for temperature. Also, have you configured it as a FLiRS device (Battery) or always listening (24V)?
  5. Hi @mobbie, I have had similar issues in the past with many devices including my ZXT-120's. Usually, I find a soft re-configure or re-adding them fixes the issue.
  6. This can be achieved by following the below Tutorial:
  7. True @10der, It is simple... for people like you and I who are seasoned IT professionals. Unfortunately the vast majority of people out there have little to no coding experience, zero Linux skills and more important things to do with their time. Hence why in most cases buying a product that is ready to go and fully supported is a much better option.
  8. Sure that is true however you will need to run homebridge on a device of some sort which is not free, you need to learn how to set it up which takes your time and you then have to hope nothing changes like when hue changed their logon process which meant homebridge no longer worked. The alternative is to spend $199 AUD, receive a commercial product already installed and right to go that is also supported by a reliable team. I know which one is more appealing to me
  9. Hi @Allcontrol, In order to use Siri you need to grab yourself an Automation Bridge. The product works well and also enables Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa control. Google search Automationbridge to find out more.
  10. Fibaro is out of the game, working on something quietly.... Im sure the wait will be worth it guys. Publishing planned features would be doing a disservice to everyone. What are they meant to be? A hard and fast promise about what Fibaro will deliver by when? Good luck with that… that’s a disaster of expectation-setting waiting to happen. Fibaro are well aware of their dated app and as a loyal customer, I am confident that what they are working on will be first class. Lets wait and see...
  11. There is no plug-in unfortunately. I use a virtual device which sends IR commands to control mine through a GC-100 however you could also use a Logitech Harmony Hub to do this if you like.
  12. @k1s, what firmware are you on? I had this exact issue including and excluding on 4.170. I ended up restoring to 4.162 Beta to stabilise the system and allow me to include/ exclude devices again.
  13. Purchase the Automation Bridge, it works very well. The commands are direct, no “ask Fibaro to turn on the lights” rubbish.
  14. I had the same problem, I overcame it by storing all playback data in the variables listed below, so after TTS finished it would resume from the same track using the playlist, track number & elapsed time. I would share all my code but it is very ugly local varName = { [zonename.."_Track"] = { value = "0", type = "simple" }, [zonename.."_Playlist"] = { value = "0", type = "simple" }, [zonename.."_Vol"] = { value = "0", type = "simple" }, [zonename.."_ElapseTime"] = { value = "0", type = "simple" }, [zonename.."_State"] = { value = "0", type = "simple" }, [zonename.."_LineIn"] = { value = "0", type = "simple" } }
