Hi guys,
I'm planning for the future flat the smart solution based on fibaro.
After calling the technical expert from the Conrad Store in Germany there still some questions according to the installation:
- do the dimmer/switch etc. componentns need the extra full power supply? (on the videos it was usually the normal switch, or all wall switches have power supply)
- if I have the conventional switch in fron of fibaro device, does the switch needs to be always on, to allow the power supply for the fibaro dimmer/switch device?
And also some general questions:
- does it makes sense in the new flat to plan conventional switchers?
- are there any despatcher boxes or any solution with the placeholders for fibaro devices available on the market to be able to plan everything on the one place ? (On the one wall/same Place I have 18 conventional switches: Light/Jalusie. Would be nice to replace them with Z-Wave Enabled or Touchpads)
- are there any solution to replace switches with texted Scenario List (Special z-wave power supplied controllers or touch pad with app always on with scenario list )
The Flat Plan is attached. Any help, idea will be very appreciated.
Thank you in a dvance.
P.S. In Germany the KNX cabled Standard seems to be a non-alternative ( know-how/consulting leak). The price for the eight jalusie automation (eight buttons) offered for me from busch-jäger - 10 000 euro (sick!).
Are there any company making consulting in z-wave area? Seems to be a very promisable business. Actually in my future house could be more the 60 owners interested in professional consulting .
