Hi guys,
I am trying to figure out which Fibaro modules to use for a project in which all the lights are only LED (non-dimmable) bulbs. The options are:
1) Dimmer 2, but the restrictions are that it can power up to 100w LED bulbs with power factor 0.5 or less and in the project there are cirtuits that are 10x18W=180w in total......
2) Dimmer 2 with Bypass, because some of the cirtuits are like 2x6w=12w in total, but i saw somewhere that Bypass must be used ONLY where the LED ligts are DIMMABLE?!
3) Single Switch 2 with some sort of a protection like this one: https://files.elv.com/Assets/Produkte/13/1303/130366/Downloads/130366_esb1_um.pdf but the problem is that the manual is in German and as far as i can understand the protection is used only for 200VA loads which means, that if the power factor of the bulbs is 0.5 that means again 100w but as i said there are some cirtuits that are 10x18W=180w in total?!?!?! On page 4 of the manual (in the right part of the picture there) is shown that when used with LED bulbs it can be used in max 200w cirtuits?
The 30 seconds rule is not a big issue, because the customer will be instructed that it will work fine only if he waits 30sec before turning on the same cirtuit that he just got turned off, but hey, if we can protect the relays and use their power measure function that is not a big issue.
Any tips or ideas guys? What and how to do?
Kind regards!
